To ensure reliable call performance on iOS devices, the CloudCall Mobile App should remain active in the background. Closing the app from the app switcher can prevent calls from registering properly. This article provides recommended iOS settings and usage tips to maintain consistent call connectivity.
Keep the CloudCall App Running in the Background
Do not swipe up to close or terminate the CloudCall app from the App Switcher. Terminating the app will stop background services, causing call notifications to fail or be delayed.
To check:
Swipe up from the bottom of the screen.
Locate CloudCall in the open app list.
Do not swipe up on CloudCall instead, return to the Home Screen.
💡 Tip: The app can safely run in the background without impacting performance or battery life significantly.
Allow Time for Call Registration
When receiving an incoming call, wait approximately 2 seconds before answering.
This short delay allows the CloudCall app to fully establish the call session with the network, reducing risks of audio or connection issues.
Allow Notifications
Notifications ensure incoming calls are presented promptly.
To enable notifications:
Go to Settings → Notifications → CloudCall.
Turn on Allow Notifications.
Under Alerts, select Lock Screen, Notification Centre, and Banners.
Ensure Sounds are enabled.
Enable Background App Refresh
This keeps CloudCall connected and responsive when not open on screen.
To enable:
Go to Settings → General → Background App Refresh.
Make sure Background App Refresh is turned ON.
Scroll down and toggle CloudCall to ON.
Keep the App Updated
Always ensure the CloudCall app is running the latest version.
To update:
Open the App Store.
Tap your profile icon at the top right.
Scroll down to pending updates.
Tap Update next to CloudCall, if available.
Check Battery and Power Settings
Battery-saving settings may limit app performance.
To verify:
Go to Settings → Battery.
Ensure Low Power Mode is off when actively using CloudCall.
