If you are experiencing issues such as no audio during calls or your recipient being unable to hear you, please follow the steps below to configure your headset or audio device with the CloudCall O1 desktop application.
Step 1: Open the Sound Settings
1. Click on the Start menu (Windows logo in the taskbar).
2. Select Settings (gear icon).
3. In the Settings window, click on System from the left-hand sidebar.
4. Choose Sound from the right-hand pane.
5. Then select Advanced Sound Options
Step 2: Select Your Headset
1. Scroll down to CloudCall.
2. Then select your headset for both input and output.
Step 3: Set as Default Communication Device and Default Device
1. Navigate back to Sound Settings and select Sound Control Panel.
2. From the context menu that pops up, right click on the headset you're currently using and select both Set as Default Device and Set as Default Communication Device.
3. You will also need to do the same steps above for "Headset Microphone" or device of your choice microphone under the "Recording" Tab.
4. Under the Communications Tab, select the "Do Nothing" option.
5. Click Apply to save your settings.
Step 4: Disable Enhancements and Exclusive Mode
1. In the same window, click on your headset in the list again and then on Properties.
2. Click the Enhancements tab (if available), tick ‘Disabled all Enhancements’
3. Under the Advanced Tab, deselect all options in Exclusive Mode.
4. Click Apply and then OK to save your settings.
5. You will also need to do the same steps above for "Headset Microphone" or device of your choice microphone under the "Recording" Tab.
Step 5: Confirm the Changes
- Click Apply and then OK to save your settings.
- Your headset is now set as the default communication device for voice calls and other communication purposes.
