Welcome! This article will guide you through the step-by-step process of upgrading from CloudCall Classic to CloudCall O1. We’ll cover everything you need to know to make the transition smooth and easy, ensuring you’re fully set up on the new platform. Let’s get started!
Step 1: Log out of CloudCall Classic Applications:
1. CloudCall Communicator
Click on Softphone > Sign out
2. CloudCall Chrome extension
Click on menu button
Click on Settings > Logout
Step 2: Download and install CloudCall o1 Applications
1. CloudCall for Desktop
Click the button below to install our CloudCall for desktop application:
2. CloudCall for Mobile
Click the button below to install our CloudCall for mobile application:
Note: In order for the mobile app to function properly, you will need to keep it open on your phone. Please ensure it is running in the background when you are not actively using it and wish to receive incoming calls.
3. CloudCall Chrome Extension
Click the button below to install our Chrome extension:
Step 3: Login and validate your credentials
1. Refer to the email you received from our system with the subject "Welcome to CloudCall o1". If you haven’t received it, please check your spam folder or contact support.
If you can’t find the welcome email, click the CloudCall icon on your computer to launch the application and use the password reset functionality to set up your account. Click here for detailed instructions.
Please remember that your username is your work email address.
2. If you're accessing CloudCall from the link in the above Welcome email and your password has expired, use the Password Reset functionality option on the login page when you first sign in.

4. The login screen for CloudCall for Desktop, Mobile, and Chrome extension appears as shown below:
5. Enter in your username (email) and password and click ‘Sign in’

Step 4: Make Your First Call
1. In the CloudCall desktop or mobile application, type a phone number in the "Type phone number to call" field or use the keypad to enter the digits.
2. Once the number is entered, click the green phone button to initiate the call.
Step 5: Making a Click-to-Dial Call
1. Ensure that you are signed into the CloudCall Chrome extension as shown above.
2. Hover your cursor over the phone number you want to dial.
3. Click the phone button that appears to initiate the call.
Step 6: Uninstall CloudCall Classic Applications
If you're able to make and receive inbound and outbound calls on the new CloudCall O1 platform, you can go ahead and uninstall the CloudCall Classic applications.
