Issue – Users cannot hear me or the voice is too low/ automatically reduces
Check:
- Audio input/output levels
- Volume Mixer
Solution:
Right-click on the sound icon on the bottom right corner (or access via Control Panel)
Click on Sounds
Click on the 'Communications' tab
Click on 'Do Nothing', then 'Apply' and then 'ok'
Ensure sufficient audio level for both earphone and microphone
Issue – Cannot hear audio both ends
Check:
- Correct audio input/output device selected in OS and communicator
- Ensure that headset used is compatible
Solution:
- Check audio drivers
- Try a different headset
- Look for Software updates that could interfere with audio
- Re-install Communicator and plugin and test
